I think we had a good meeting tonight... And if there wasn't any football it would have been even better! But, we did go up to the high school and we played some kick ball. I did not get on base as Dylan magically knew where I was going to kick each time... You'd think I would have gone with a grounder?
We talked for a little bit about how God is not fair (in a way that is good for us). It's easy to see in the tale of the Prodigal Son, but a little more difficult to swallow when thinking about the criminal on the cross. Is being saved right before you doe "cheating?" Rather, I think that our only sadness should be that they were not saved sooner.
We are also doing a fundraiser for Superbowl Sunday, and we'll have a few more in the future. STAY TUNED!!!

The true sadness for the ones saved right before death comes in their loss of having lived with a relationship with God. So much to have missed out on during life.

Yes they dont get the joy of having the lord thier whole life but why would someone like an abuser get to enjoy heaven and Gods glory if he spent his whole life abusing childern. Maybe im dense but i really dont like the thought that i may be in heaven with the person that abused me.
